Declaration
Asia Pacific Inter Faith Youth Camp 2008
We, as the young people of Asia Pacific countries, who will
inherit the earth and become the world’s future leaders,
declare that:
Climate change is happening, that it is due to human
activities, and that it will have significant social,
economic and environmental consequences. These consequences
will be unevenly distributed across geographical, social and
generational boundaries, and will increase global
inequality.
We, as young people, recognize addressing climate change is
the challenge for our generation, and requires the action
and cooperation of people from all faiths, cultures, and
countries. more |

ask every individual to prevent Climate Change, with the
following ways:
1.
Using an empty place to plant
trees. If there are not empty places, use a pot, at least
one tree in each household.
2. Make
people around us, especially students aware about the
importance of the forest and water resource.
